Lad Lifestyle: Girl Texts Dad That She Lost Her Virginity - By Accident

  • dcfemella · 1 year ago
I hope to have an open relationship with my children, so I would talk to them about it. However, when they weren't looking, I would scream bloody murder and think of the 1,000 ways I would want to murder that guy/girl.

I'd definitely be the same - a good heart-to-heart and then plan the guy's demise :)

    Thanks for commenting!

How about if it was your son? Maybe cause I'm a woman, I'd still want to hurt the girl. I think there is such a double standard between a guy and a girl.

I think (as I think you were suggesting) that it's easy to assume the guy has/had more control than the girl in the situation. To be honest, 18 is an age where I would be even expecting my son/daughter to be galavanting, whatever their gender! (And, I'll be honest, I was 13, she was 17...)

you're just one tired mother who takes every text on Internet as truth - while most probably it is not, when it comes from ailing mass-media http://ohmars.wordpress.com/2008/12/11/texting-...

    so a hoax...hmmmm
  • silpol · 1 year ago
even if it was not hoax - female virginity (or lack of it) is only tool for social pressure, used mostly by religion-driven elements.
  • dcfemella · 1 year ago
How can you say it was religion driven when it seems like it was a hoax to give this girl her 15 minutes of fame? Not everything that occurs has some deep underlying meaning behind it.

I don't see how this makes me a "tired mother." If you noticed, other people, who aren't women or mothers, also responded to this hoax.

It seems like you are someone who is a little bitter about life. You need to calm down and stop trying to find conspiracies.

Also, did you read where Matt categorized this? Comedy!

Please, no personal attacks - thought out opinions are fantastic, idol assumptions on fellow readers are pointless.

    It's a comedic post. Laugh.

Wow....and this girl got accepted at Syracuse? I guess I'm not surprised. A high school classmate of mine got accepted into Syracuse too ;D

Haha! Sounds a familiar story then, Ed? :)
